Passed away at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer Neil Mark Shea at the age of 71.
Predeceased by parents; Lawrence and Lucy Shea, In-laws; Alfred and Mary Sheppard, sister and brother In-law; Doreen and Gerald Sharpe, and brother In-law; Lindsey Sheppard. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife of 40 years Mary Elizabeth (Sheppard), daughters Danielle (Steve) and Sara (Jamie), Poppy’s boys Mark and Liam, brothers and sisters; Lawrence Jr, Bev Shea (Audrey), Beryl Randell (Eric), Morley Shea (Joan), Karen Wheaton (Austin) and a large circle nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
A special thanks to the Community Health & Palliative Care Teams and the Nurses and Doctors of the Gander Cancer Clinic, without them this journey would have been impossible.
Visitation will take place from St. Andrews Anglican Church in Glenwood on Monday, January 8th, 2024 from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9 pm. From where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 at 11am.
Flowers greatly accepted or donation can be made to the Family to help with expenses or the Gander and Area SPCA.
