Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on November 7, 2023 Edison Douglas Easton of Noggin Cove, NL at the age of 88.
He was predeceased by wife, Glenda, children Zeta and Ricky, parents Ivy and Walter Easton, parents-in-law, Jessie and Henry Sheppard, sister-in-law, Leoness Easton, brother-in-law, Bertram Swain, son-in-law, Wallace Gillingham, grandson-in-law, Matthew Snook and brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Lorraine Sheppard.
Sharing in many wonderful memories are sons Tony of Noggin Cove, Larry (Diane) of Carmanville, daughters Barbara Gillingham (Boyd Cull) of Noggin Cove, Sharon Parsons (David) of Noggin Cove,
brother Howard Easton of CBS, sisters Verna Swain of CBS, Phyllis Hulan (Surrey) of CBS,sister-in-law Lorna Boone (Harvey) of Campbellton, grandchildren Blaine (Margie), Heather (Colin), Jill (Doyin), Matthew (Chantal), Nicholas (Ashley), Paul (Caroline), Blair (Brittany), great-grandchildren Peyton, Kate, Chloe, Amy, Emile, Shea, James, Reed, Allie, Leo, Mila, Eli, Demi, Tate and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Family will be accepting friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Carmanville on Thursday, November 9th from 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M., Friday, November 10th from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Saturday, November 11th from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the United Church, Carmanville. Interment at the United Cemetery, Noggin Cove.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Mr. Easton’s memory may be made to the United Cemetery Fund, Noggin Cove.
