Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on June 18, 2024, Wayne S. Hiscock of Carbonear, age 74 years.
Predeceased by parents: Wilfred and Annie; brothers: Ivany, Reg (Jessie), and Derek; sister: Gert Kenny; parents-in-law: Charles and Bertha Burgess; brothers-in-law: George King, Randolph Butt, and Keith Burgess; special friend Elwood Snow.
Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 52 years: Gwen; daughters: Trudy Bridger (Chris King) and Mandy Hiscock; granddaughter: Victoria (Nicholas) who he adored and were his pride and joy; brother: Fred (Donna); sisters: Barb King and Dianne Butt; sisters-in-law: Ella Hiscock, Cynthia Hiscock, Cairine (Wayne) Thistle, and Katherine Burgess; brothers-in-law: Charlie (Yvonne) Kenny and Gary (Janet) Burgess; poppy’s little dog: Kia; special neighbor: GraceAnn; also a large number of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, June 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, June 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
Internment to be held at a later date.
