Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her family, at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on May 11, 2024, Anastasia Hannon of Low Point, age 98 years.
Predeceased by husband: William Hannon; daughters: Veronica (Kevin), Margaret (Bren), Josephine, Pauline (Phonse); grandchildren: Neal, Karen, Gary, and Kim; parents: John Thomas and Mary Josephine Howard; brothers: Gerry, Kevin (Carmel), and Br. William; sisters: Marie Wakeham (Pad), Eleanor, and Genevieve.
Leaving to mourn, daughter: Gen (Paul, deceased), son: Gary; grandchildren: Tina, Don, Paul, Elaine (Bill), Kirk (Juanita), and Renee (Scott); great-grandchildren: Logan, Kara, Cody, Jacob, Erica, Terrance, Chad, Colton, Avery, Raelene, Riley, Darien, Breanna; brothers: Bernard (Anita) and Felix (Joanne); sisters: Betty Howard, Rosalie Quinlan (Gill, deceased), Eileen Chrapchynski (Roy, deceased), Veronica Williams (Randall, deceased), Mary Wilson (Charles), and Maureen Howard (Calvert Davis); son-in-law: Ellison; granddaughter-in-law: Marjorie; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay on Thursday, May 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Friday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.
Interment in Low Point Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Anastasia Hannon Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Homes, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A6.
