Rose Annie Crann Obituary
Passed peacefully away on April 27, 2024 Rose Annie Crann, at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Botwood. She was 83 years of age.
Rose was born to the late Walter and Vivian Pardy on March 4, 1941 and grew up in Botwood. Rose met the love of her life Rex Crann when she was 16 years old. They later married and raised their 6 children together. Rose was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, Aunt, cousin and friend. Rose was a lover of animals especially Susie and a hard working Recreational Therapist. She was a member of the Botwood Women’s Institute (44 years), DHTHC Ladies Auxiliary, Mural Arts, Interfaith Goodwill and loved to attend the Salvation Army Citadel in Botwood. Rose had many hobbies that she enjoyed, cooking, baking, quilting, travelling, ice fishing, hunting, camping were some of those.
She was predeceased by her husband Rex; son Rick; parents Walter and Vivian Pardy; sisters Bonnie and Vera; long-time family friend Josh Elliott. She leaves to mourn her sons Tony (Janista) Crann, Jody Crann, Jamie (Amanda) Crann, Peter (Sarah) Crann; daughter Connie (Ray) Elliott; daughter-in-law Margie Crann; sister Trudy Hancock; brothers Roy, Ron, George (JoAnn) Pardy; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and a circle of other relatives and friends.
Special thank you to Lanes Retirement Living and the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Botwood.
Pallbearers will be sons Tony, Jody, Jamie, Peter, brother George Pardy; daughter-in-law Margie; family friend Gary Moores and Walter Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be her daughter Connie Crann and granddaughter Stephanie Reid.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Palliative Care Unit.
