Olive Amelia Grace March Obituary
Olive March in her 88th year, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024 with family by her side at the Central Regional Health Care Centre.
Olive came back home to Newfoundland 1 year ago after living in Ontario for over 30 years. She moved to Lanes Retirement Home in Botwood.
Besides raising her 8 children, she loved knitting, doing puzzles and playing bingo. When she wasn’t busy with her activities, she would be watching her favorite television program.. “The Weather Network”.
Olive is predeceased by her Husband, Chesley, son Freeman and daughter Carol.
Olive is survived by her children Judy (Norris), Bonnie (Kerry), Calvin (Louise), Clifford (Corena), Wade (Kimberly), Chesley (Debbie). Also leaving to mourn are her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Olive will be remembered for her love and giving nature. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A very special thank you to all the nursing staff in 3B at the Central Regional Health Care Centre for taking such good care of our mother.
Cremation has taken place with Hoskins Funeral Home. A small memorial service will be held in Olive’s honor at Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood on Tuesday evening, 7 p.m.
