It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cindy Jewer announce her passing at the Dr.Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL at the age of 62 years, with her family and friends by her side.
Predeceased by her parents , Scott and Shirley Hemeon Brothers: Keith and Wayne Sister: Christine.
Cindy leaves to mourn her husband of 43 years, Barry.
Children: Shellie (Chris), Marc (Megan) Grandchild: Hallie
Step – Grandchild: Averie
Sisters: Malinda (Dan), Wanda (Wayne) , Laurie (Bill).
Also left behind are mother in law Daphne Jewer, Brothers In law Blair ( Sharon), Brian (Patricia) and numerous extended family members, including special nephews Tim, Jeff and Glenn.
Cindy recently retired after 38 years service working with Central Health where she worked as a buyer. She took great pride in her job.
She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. She always kept a positive outlook and put her family above all. Her smile would brighten any room and will not be forgotten. Cindy loved to travel and visited many places with her family and friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Woolfrey, all nursing staff, physio assistant Sean, home support workers (Kathy and Rosalind), her special friends, all those who called, sent cards, food or messages for your love and support during this difficult time.
At Cindy’s request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lionel Kelland hospice in her memory.
