Christina Durdle
With enormous sadness and shock, I announce the death of Christina Durdle on December 22nd, 2023.
Predeceased by her partner Eugene Hicks, brother Edmond Durdle and parents Amelia and Alexander Durdle.
Christina leaves behind a huge amount of family and friends. Children Brittanie Durdle (Ryan Dicks) and Shawn Burry (Brittane). Stepchildren Brian Hicks (Jessica) and Tina Hicks (Dennis). Special grandchildren, Sonny, Reign, Jackson, Harlow and Emerson. Along with many more grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother Cyril Durdle and sister-in-law Sandra Durdle. Best friend of many years and sister by choice Virginia Tremblett Gough. Also leaving behind close niece Cynthia Durdle (Gary) and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of other family and friends. She will be loved and remembered by all.
Christina was known for her kindness, fun, and her amazing burgers at the chip truck. She worked hard durning the summer months serving the people and tourists of Bonavista with her amazing food, and volunteering with many associations including Spirit Riders.
She was a very hard worker and never complained about anything going on, she would listen and talk to everyone about their problems but would never want to put her problems on anyone else.
The family would like to thank everyone who have reached out and expressed their condolences on the sudden death of Christina, it truly means the world.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26th (time to be determined) and Wednesday, December 27th (time to be determined) at Strathie’s Funeral Home, Bonavista.
Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, December 28th at 2:00 from the Anglican Church, Bonavista.
As per her wishes cremation will take place following her funeral.
