It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Mary Southwell on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 84 years. Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit.
Mary was a bright, kindhearted soul who lived life selflessly for her family. She never missed an “I love you” at the end of every call and was always there to compliment and show gratitude towards others, even in her final days.
Despite her short stature, Mary was someone her family always looked up to, especially for her strength and zest for life. From singing Dolly Parton, to dancing any waltz or jig, she was always sure to bring the party to life.
When it came to cooking Jiggs Dinner, no one could hold a candle to Mary. Rest assured – you could eat off Mary’s floors!
She took pride in her appearance – no hair out of place and you certainly would never see her without her lipstick.
She was a devoted catholic, true to her faith for the years of her life. The perfect candidate for her promotion to heaven.
Mary leaves to mourn with loving and heartfelt memories:
