It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom today after a brief illness.
She is deeply mourned by her loving family:

Brother: Raymond Bowering (Linda), Ottawa
Nephew: David Bowering (Megan), Ottawa

Doreen was an avid outdoors person at heart and in her healthier years, enjoyed a good boil-up while off fishing on a snowmobile or ATV, depending on the season; and getting firewood for the stove in the winter.
Her love of animals is legendary, whether they be pet cats, dogs, or rabbits and she has even been known to nurse a lame duck back to health, rather than see it perish. Her love and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE’S FUNERAL HOME, 488 CBN HWY, SPANIARDS BAY on Saturday: 11:30 A.M. -9 P.M.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her loving memory to NewLife Rescue.
