Elizabeth (Bettie) Mary Bali-Myrah (nee Abram, nee Bali) passed away on January 12th, 2024 quietly in her sleep.
Bettie was a graduate of the Regina Grey Nuns Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. In November 1961, Bettie married Keith Abram (2013). Bettie was mother to Brendon, Sean and Kerwin.
She is survived by her brother Garry and her sister Patricia.
She is predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Bali (nee Mecsey) (2002) and her father Steve Bali (2009); and her second husband Edward Myrah (2014).
Bettie’s nursing career after graduation started in Whitewood SK until she married Keith when she moved to Holdfast SK. Bettie then started nursing at the Craik Hospital where she worked for 25 years until her retirement in 1991.
Bettie had many passions in her life including her cats and dogs and her art work. She was an accomplished calligrapher and painter; always an artistic person.
