TRIPPS: Milton P.
October 8, 1944 – July 2, 2024
The family of Milton Paul Tripps is sad to announce his passing on July 2, 2024.
Milton was pre-deceased by his parents, Victor and Doris Tripps (Rayner), brother Doug Tripps and partner Evelyn, and son-in-law Howard Nelson. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Cathy Tripps (Thurmeier); his children Cara Nelson, Paul Tripps, Mark (Robin) Tripps; his grandchildren Max Nelson, Grace Tripps, Scarlett Tripps and Victor Tripps; sister Marilyn (Joe) Koza, brother Orville (Donna Dermott) Tripps, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Milton was born on October 8, 1944, in the big “white house” near where he lived, farmed and raised his family. He enjoyed travelling in the winter months, visiting family and friends. He liked playing baseball in his youth with the Penzance Pirates and watching the Blue Jays. As his health declined, some of his favourite pastimes were jigsaw puzzles and crib games with friends. He adored his grandchildren and loved to play with them every chance he got.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Penzance Community Hall, Penzance, Saskatchewan on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Reception to follow. Private Family Interment at a later date.
