Phyllis Alice was born May 12, 1933 at Mrs. Hirts in Dahlton to Harry and Alice (Dallman) Wittynek. She was the first of seven children in the family. She started her schooling in Barford and finished in Loring.
Phyllis married Norman Braaten of Rose Valley and to this union three children were born. Sadly, Norman passed away at a young age in 1968. Phyllis and children returned to Rose Valley. The sun shone on Phyllis and her children in August 1969 when she married Harry Cooper from Archerwill. To this union two children were born.
Harry and Phyllis built their yard site next to the Cooper Homestead and spent all their years together there. Phyllis loved her garden, especially her flowers. Over the years as her children grew she took part in whatever they were doing.
After Harry’s passing in 2018 she moved to Rose Valley Community Spirit Manor for a short time; then to Arborfield Care Home where she lived a quiet, peaceful life. Phyllis left us September 1, 2024.
Phyllis is predeceased by her husband Norman, husband Harry and grandson Travis.
Left to mourn are her five children, ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; three sisters and one brother.
