Obituary
At 8:30 am on August 12, 2024, Robert completed his earthly journey and passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
Robert was the only son of the late Wendell and Isabell Harnum of Heart’s Delight, Trinity Bay and brother to the late Judy Keeling Walsh.
Leaving to celebrate his life are his sister, Paula Harnum Brown of Welland, Ontario and Grace Woodman, companion and very dear friend, and her family. Robert will be missed by many including his many friends at Cambridge Estates where he lived for the last 6 years.
Robert received his education in Heart’s Delight and Carbonear, NL and Mount Allison University. He worked with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in finance for 20 years. Upon his retirement he started up his own company and became a trusted financial advisor and tax man to many. He loved his work and worked up until days before his passing.
Cremation has taken place.
Inurnment will be held from the United Church Cemetery, Heart’s Delight, NL, on September 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, NL.
