Brytan Ben Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brytan Lee Ben on June 17, 2024. Brytan, whom most called Smoke, Sonny, or Hanzy, is survived by her; father, Perry Ben and mother, Amanda Nilsson; siblings; Bodan Ben, Zhanine Ben, Meighan Nilsson, Julian Littlewolfe, Aaron Littlewolfe and Jelisa Littlewolfe; and her maternal grandparents Mike and Maxine Kinash. Smoke is predeceased by her paternal grandparents Ernest Dumont, Mary Sahkatimo (Ben), and paternal great grandmother Isable Nilsson. Smoke was a social butterfly and made friends everywhere. Always loud and the life of the party, Smoke brought light wherever she went. Painting, drawing, and writing were some of Smoke’s favourite hobbies and this could be seen in how she showed herself to the world. Smoke is dearly missed by all the friends, family, and relatives who knew her.
The wake for Smoke will start on Wednesday, June 19 at 11:00 am at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Community Hall, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, SK. The service will be on Friday, June 21 at 11:00am at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Community Hall, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, SK with the burial to follow.
