Joanne Ford
July 4, 1945 — September 25, 2024
With immense sorrow, the family of Joanne Ford announce that she passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 25, 2024.
Born in Calgary, Alberta on July 4, 1945, she would grace many places until finally settling at Christopher Lake in 1978.
Her smile and generosity will be missed by all, but most especially by her treasured family; her beloved husband of 61 years, Barry; her daughter Misty (Jay) and their family, her son Dennis (Jackie) and their family.
Living life close to her sister and best friend, Cheryl, along with John and their family, brought many years of adventures and fun. Joanne was “mom” to anyone who needed a safe space and had a willingness to try new recipes. She treasured her time with friends at Nobles Point. Her greatest joy was the upcoming birth of two great-grandsons.
At Joanne’s request there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers or cards, please consider a donation in Joanne’s name to the RUH Foundation in Saskatoon. The family would like to thank the amazing doctors, nurses, therapists and staff at the RUH Emergency and Medical unit for their compassion and skill. We will miss you, Grandma Jo!
