John SEYMOUR Obituary
It is with sadness that the family of John Henry Seymour announces his passing on September 18, 2024 at the age of 95.
John will be lovingly remembered by his sister Katherine Olson (Seymour), nieces and nephews: Carla (Darrell) Bourgette, Darcy (Theresa) Olson, Nadine Olson, Louise (Tim) Ludwig, Bernie Rousell, Dan Rousell, Boyd Rousell, Curtis Rousell and numerous great nephews and nieces.
John was predeceased by his parents Henry and Jean Seymour, his sister and her husband Lois and Hilton Rousell, brother in law Dale Olson and niece Colleen Peters.
John was a simple farmer at heart. He enjoyed visiting with family and neighbours. He was a loyal fan of both the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
John was thrilled to receive the Century Family Farm Award for the Seymour Family Farm established 1910. He would show the plaque to all who visited.
The family would like to thank the staff at Orange Memories, Dr. Dan Ledding and the Rosetown Hospital Staff for their wonderful care.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Shanidar Funeral Services with Reverend Jan Coffey-Olson officiating. Memorial donations may be directed to the Orange Memories Activity Fund.
