Our family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of our daughter, sister, auntie and dear friend Yvonne Mary Samuelson on Monday, October 7, 2024. Yvonne was predeceased by her father Jack Samuelson; brothers James and Tyrone; sisters Sandra, Victoria and Charlene; nephews Josh, Michael and Jared; and nieces Cleo, Niki and Melissa. Yvonne is lovingly remembered by her mom Margaret; sisters Shirley, Darlene (Mervin), Jannet (Richard), Valerie and Bonnie (John); brothers Morris, Conway (Denise), Victor (Mabel), and Trenton (Rebecca); best friend Emily; special cousin Soda Pop; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Yvonne was born in Balcarres, SK on August 10, 1968. She will be remembered for her love of baseball and was a true Blue Jays fan. Yvonne was an auntie that spoiled everyone, if you ever needed something you knew you could go to her. She took all the kids in the family as her own as she did not have any kids of her own. Yvonne was a very selfless person who wanted to help everyone out, either with a meal or with money. She was a lover of dogs, especially her own dog Buddy. Yvonne’s smile, laugh and big heart will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Metis Nation Saskatchewan, 2332 11th Avenue, Regina, SK with lunch to follow celebration. Interment will be held at Memorial Gardens at 3:30pm
