Patricia (Patsy) was born on March 22, 1954, to Nick and Pauline Bishko. She grew up on a mixed farm and loved all the animals, wildlife, forests, and meadows. Her family was hardworking, loving and enjoyed the fruits of their labor. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mike, and daughters Dyana and Jerri, son in-law Kyle, and grandchildren Camron, Gemma, Wesley, Georgia, and Jolee.
“Our daughters, Dyana and Jerri are simply the best, and Kyle and all the pets fit right in there too. Our grandchildren are the greatest gift of all. They are perfect just the way they are – active, adorable, smart, caring, and motivated. I so enjoyed getting updates and watching live feeds on basketball, volleyball, hockey, track and field, and baseball. Gerald and Marie, my brother and sister. You always go above and beyond. Always encouraging and devoted. Nancy, Sharon, Marlene and Bob and their wonderful families complete our family unit. Nursing has always been my career choice. I’ve had 42 years of service with unforgettable experiences in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Regina, Fond Du Lac, Sandy Bay, and most of all La Ronge. My Friends and co-workers in La Ronge created an amazing support system and by the way, ” the golden A-Team rocked.”
“My wonderful husband Mike, Mike brings out the best of every single day! We were so lucky to have enjoyed so many adventures: Australia, Scotland, Ireland, and the Caribbean. We shared these experiences with our amazing family and friends and created unforgettable memories and good times. We also enjoyed about about 10 years in our winter getaway in California where fellow snowbirds welcomed us with open arms. The very best memories were created at our family cabin. We celebrated all the little things. We enjoyed fishing, lake adventures, projects, refreshments, theme nights, Greasefests, card tournaments, and monumental weather challenges. Our lake community is an extention of our family. I also truly appreciated my “Cousin trips”. We went to New York, Cambodia, Thailand, the East Coast and Costa Rica. You are all so much fun. This is not goodbye, it’s see you later.”
Service for Patsy will be Friday April 12, 2024 1:00PM at the Royal Canadian Legion.
