It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mrs. Eleanor Wappel with family by her side on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the age of 89 years. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. held at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Sheldon Gattinger officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Wappel to be directed to the Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund Donate Now – Zion Lutheran Church (canadahelps.org) or to the Canadian Cancer Society 200-325 Manning Road NE Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium – Trevor Watts.
