Claudette Marie Theresa Berard was born in Willow Bunch, SK on March 19th, 1952. She passed away, with family by her side, on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 in Assiniboia, AK.
Claudette left Willow Bunch at a young age and on April 4th, 1970, she married the love of her life Cecil Berard. They moved back to Willow Bunch to retire in 1999. This is where Claudette decided to take up curling and golfing.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Bambi Lynn Berard; parents, Rodrique and Victorine McGillis; sisters, Dolores McGillis and Yvonne Blanchard; and brother, Clarence McGillis. Claudette is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Cecil Berard; children: Jason, Lisa, and Lindsay (Jamey); grandchildren: Coltin (Tomi-lyn) Berard, Torin (Abby) Berard, Kourtney (Tyler) Drew, Ty (Alyssa) Collins, Faith Collins, Asilynn and Abigail Andrews; and great-grandchildren: Alria and Ella-Rae Berard, Huxley Collins, and Mia Sweeny. Claudette is loved by many, including nieces, nephews, foster children and friends of children.
The family would like to thank the hard-working staff in the Dialysis Unit at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, the staff at the Regina General Hospital, as well as the wonderful staff and Dr. Glaske at the Assiniboia Union Hospital. We are very grateful for you all.
