Vivian Lewko Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Vivian Lewko announces her passing on March 29, 2024 at the Kamsack Hospital at the age of 87 tears with her son at her side holding her hand.
Vivian came to Kamsack in September of 1959 to accept a teaching position at Assiniboine School which she had been recently built. Vivian married Walter Lewko in June 1962, but divorced in 1981. Their son Rodney was born on September 17, 1967.
Vivian retired in June 1994 after a 33 year teaching career in Kamsack, which included stints at Victoria and Kamsack Jr High. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church for 50 plus years and made many life-long friends there. She loved God with all her heart and stood for Jesus proudly.
Sincere gratitude to the medical staff at Kamsack Hospital who provided the care needed to make her stay as comfortable as possible in her final days. Thanks also to the many friends who came to visit.
Special thanks to Rev. Nancy Brunt for her spiritual guidance and support.
Funeral Service for Vivian will be at The Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Kamsack, Sk on April 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Rev Nancy Brunt officiating. A luncheon will follow the service in the basement of the church.
