Lori Garfinkle
Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Beloved daughter of Alice Miller and the late Hershey Garfinkle and cherished stepdaughter of the late Albert Lebovitz. Most loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Brandon Farber and Annik Bélanger-Krams, Dustin Farber, Blake Farber and Lily Wu. Proud Gaga of Lila and Jax Farber. Adored sister of Doug Garfinkle. Best friend of Grazia Schiffman.
Lori graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Advertising and Communications. A true artist in every sense of the word, Lori was a poet, a designer and a published novelist whose creativity, passion, resilience, strength and determination inspired all those who were lucky enough to know her. Despite all of her successes, Lori always said her greatest achievements were her three sons with whom she shared an unbreakable bond and who she loved with all of her heart. Heartfelt gratitude to the many doctors and nurses who supported Lori throughout her lengthy and courageous battle.
