It is with great sadness that our family announces Aaron’s passing after a brief illness on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in his ninety-eigth year. Beloved husband of the late Noreen (Nora) Palayew for sixty-seven years. Devoted, loving and caring father and father-in law of Brian Lipsin and Connie Black, Jonathon Lipsin and Laura Pẽna, Gregory Lipsin and Lorraine Rennie. Proud grandpa of Amber and Jeremy. Predeceased by his siblings Anita, Jack and Evelyn. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends, especially by his niece Lyvia. Aaron had a joy for life and a joy of people that was infectious and contagious. He held a special place in so many people’s hearts. Let us continue to celebrate his life by incorporating these ideals into all our lives. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff and especially to the nurses of Emergency, and ICU at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at Greg and Lorraine’s home Friday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday and Monday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Aaron’s memory may be made to the Israel Emergency Fund c/o Combined Jewish Appeal (Federation CJA), (514) 345-2645, ext. 2600.
