It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Richard Hughes on November 16, 2024.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Debra Reeves, his children Garth, Cameron, and Jennifer, his two grand-daughters Lauren and Blair, and his brother John.
Born in Caernarfon, Wales, Richard later immigrated to Montreal, Canada. He had a passion for the sciences – particularly computers and aeronautics. He will be remembered for his kindness, his quick wit, and his curiosity.
A celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at J. J. Cardinal (2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine), with a eulogy at 2:00 p.m. followed by a short reception.
If desired, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Montreal.
