À Sherbrooke, le 13 octobre 2023, à l’aube de ses 103 ans, est décédée Mme Simone Guilbert, épouse de feu M. Alphonse Ayotte, demeurant à Sherbrooke, autrefois de Granby. Elle était la mère de feu Claude Ayotte.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Robert, Rolande (Vital Gaudreau) et Colette Ayotte (Daniel Cimon); ses petits-enfants: Maurice et Richard Ayotte, Éric et Sébastien Bozzo; ses arrière-petits-enfants; sa sœur: Mariette (feu Aurel Paquin) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, autres parents et amis.
L’Aquamation a eu lieu au Bio-Crématorium Le Sieur de Granby.
