Born in Lebanon on June 5, 1956.
Passed away peacefully at his residence in Gatineau on Thursday, December 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved son of the late Wadih Chaar and Nahi Rahal.
Devoted husband of Adibé Youssef.
Loving father of Jacob, Sarah-Lee (Tristan Vilon), Anthony, Michaël, and Christopher.
Cherished brother of Georges (Linda Mallouk), Milia (late Joseph Farhat), Jamil (Leila Rahal), Abdallah (Micheline Shawah), Jacob, Jad (Joline Daou), Marzouk (Saoussan Chaar), Ferial (Kamel Younes) and Assaad (Vera Kiwan).
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and all of the Chaar, Youssef, Rahal, Sara, Feghaly, Farhat, Younes and Ferris families.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Les Jardins du Souvenir, 75 boulevard Fournier, Gatineau, QC J8X 3P5.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 11:00 am at St Elias Cathedral Ottawa, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa.
Interment at Les Jardins du Souvenir, 75 boulevard Fournier, Gatineau, QC J8X 3P5.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers in memoriam, donations to St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
