C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Mme Gertrud Anna Walter Chung le 20 juillet 2023, à l’âge de 99 ans.
Épouse bien-aimée pendant 57 ans de feu Randall Andu Chung, mère chérie de Nick Brenner, Julien Chung et Jonathan Chung et grand-mère dévouée de Stéphanie, Audrey, Alex, Zoe, Roswitha, et Marvin. Elle manquera profondément également à ses arrière-petits-enfants, à ses nombreux proches et amis.
La famille recevra les condoléances le 11 mai 2024 entre 10h00 et midi au Complexe Yves Légaré à Longueuil.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel de l’hôpital Charles-Lemoyne pour leur soutient et les bons soins prodigués.
Plutôt que d’envoyer des fleurs, vous êtes invités à faire un don en son nom à la Fondation des artistes, qui procure une aide financière ponctuelle aux artistes et professionnels du milieu des arts qui traversent une période précaire.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Gertrud Anna Walter Chung on July 20th, 2023, at the age of 99.
Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Randall Andu Chung, cherished mother of Nick Brenner, Julien Chung, Jonathan Chung, and devoted grandmother of Stephanie, Audrey, Alex, Zoe, Roswitha, and Marvin. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on May 11, 2024, from 10 am to 12 pm at the funeral complex Yves Legare in Longueuil.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Charles-Lemoyne Hospital for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Fondation des artistes, who provide one-time financial assistance to artists and arts professionals who are going through a difficult period, would be appreciated in her memory.
