Cheryl Anne McArthur Obituary
A cherished sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, niece and friend passed away peacefully on June 08, 2024 at VON Sakura House with her family by her side. Predeceased by her father John McArthur of Woodstock, On and Carol McArthur (nee Beacon) of Ingersoll, On.
Cheryl is survived by her sisters Sharon (Darren) and Lori. Amazing Auntie to Randy (Erin), Ashley (Adam). Beloved cousin to Kim (Ian), Wayne (Shawna). Cherished niece to Aunt Betty and Aunt Mary. Forever missed by Jacob, Marcello, Mia along with many other family and friends.
Cheryl’s childhood journey took her to many places across Ontario, but Collingwood and Thornbury held a special place in her heart. Cheryl had even more love to give to animals, which she gladly spoiled any who came into her life. Cheryl was very proud of her time spent working at Sunnybrook Hospital for over 25 years.
Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff and many friends made at Caressant Care in Woodstock, On. You gave her the community she needed.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Fryer, Sandeep, Danielle and team for your compassion and care.
Her family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Von Sakura House, Dr Fryer, Jessica, Bonnie, Suki, Tracey and Sue and many others for their tremendous care given to Cheryl. You all gave so much in the most difficult time for Cheryl and us.
Respecting Cheryl’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Brock and Visser Funeral Home have been entrusted with her arrangements.
