With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Gaetana “Tina” D’Alfonso on December 7, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 22, 1946, Gaetana was a beacon of light and kindness, dedicating her life to her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was the beloved wife of Nicola D’Alfonso, her partner and confidant in a life filled with love and devotion. A proud and cherished mother to Lucy (Angelo), Cathy (Tony), Constantino, and Maria (Mark), Gaetana’s greatest joy was her family. She was also a devoted and adoring grandmother to Luigi, Nicolette, Adamo, Katherine, Nicholas, Noah, Julianna, and Vivianna, whose lives she enriched with her boundless love and wisdom.
Gaetana’s legacy is one of love, warmth, and selflessness. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, Tel-905-850-9500) on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at the same location at 12 p.m., with entombment at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane Street, Concord, Ontario).
