90 years, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family at Huron Lodge.
Beloved husband for 65 years of Marion (nee McGaffey). Much loved father of Michelle and James (Gigi). Devoted Papa of Ethan and Anisa and granddog Tula. Dear brother of Carmen, Lorraine, Maureen and the late Jeanette and Evelyn. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Gerald was originally a carpenter by trade, and was a proud retiree of Chrysler’s. He enjoyed working in the yard, bowling, bingo and the casino.
Most importantly he loved being surrounded by his family spending time with them.
Donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Visiting on Thursday September 26 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm.
Funeral service to celebrate Gerald’s life will be held on Friday September 27, at 10 am at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
