It is with profound sadness that the family of
Elaine Agnes Woods
announces her passing
in the early morning hours of November 15th, 2023
at the age of 82.
A former volunteer with the Regent Theatre and the Picton Public Library, Elaine was warmly regarded by the community,
respected by her former colleagues at ‘the cement plant’ and deeply loved by her family and friends.
She will be fondly remembered for her beautiful and spontaneous smile, positive outlook, quick wit,
quirky sense of humour and the generosity she showed to others.
Elaine was a dedicated caregiver, predeceased by her husband (Raymond Croft Woods, 2019) and
younger daughter (Megan Elizabeth Woods, 2014). She is survived by her daughter Helen Wells (Sidney),
grandchildren Rachal Renwick (Jesse Whalen) and Jesse Woods (Kate Gordanier),
great grandchildren Royan and Saorise, nephews Wayne (Tanya) and Robert Southey (Samantha),
and great niece Jess Southey.
A Celebration of Life will be held in May 2024.
She wanted her party!
