BLACKWELL, Linda Lillian Audrey (nee Rumley) – Passed away, with family by her side, on February 24, 2024 at 74 years of age. Loving mother of Barry Chester (Lori Koziej) and Jennifer Chester. Proud Grandmother of Noah Chester and Belinda McConnell and Great Grandmother to Cole and Khloee. Cherished sister of Melissa Hercanuk (Doug) and Marijane DeNardis (Ralph).
Linda was a true fan of soccer. She spent many of her days on the soccer field watching Barry play. When Noah started playing she never missed a game. G-MA was always there in her favourite soccer hoodie cheering Noah on and loved every moment of it.
Linda enjoyed baking her specialty apple pies and making fudge and loved sharing them even more. Her kindness and big heart never went unnoticed. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone. Linda’s bright spirit and warm heart will be greatly missed by all.
Cremation has taken place, as per Linda’s wishes. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
