Wilson, John – it is with deep sadness the family of John Wilson announces his passing on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in his 91st year. Loving husband of Patrice (nee Turner). Loving father of John Jr. (Suzie) and the late Thomas. Dear father-in-law of Kim Lewis (Brad). Cherished grandfather of Stewart (Mandi), Andy (Sarah), Sarah (Phil) and Shannon (Scott) and great grandfather of Hayden, Hayden, Aubriana, Maverick and Myla-Rose. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews in Scotland. John was predeceased by his 1st wife Annie “Nan” and 2 sisters. John was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4 in Welland and Branch 99 in Belleville. He will be remembered as a man with the kindest of souls that would give you the shirt off his back. John worked hard, appreciated and valued everything he owned. A private celebration of life will take place.
