Obituary of Alan Raymond Baxter
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, December 25, 2023, at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of Mora for 63 years. Loving father of Derick, Mandy (Carl) Schultheiss, and Craig. Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Meghan, Melina (Mel), Colton, John, and David; great-grandfather Marissa, Alexander, Chace, Mika, Willow, Harper, Tori, Parker, Owen and Emerson. Dear brother of Heather (Gus) McCorqodale. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Robert and Kathleen Elsie (nee Prideaux) Baxter.
A longtime member of Highland Baptist Church, Kitchener.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Highland Baptist Church, 135 Highland Rd. W., Kitchener on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Amanda McCulloch officiating. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later date. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall.
