Pearle Eileen Fancey (nee Coleman)
With family at her side, Pearle Eileen Fancey passed away peacefully at Wentworth Lodge, Dundas at the age of 102 years. Beloved wife of MacFarlane “Mac” for 50 years. Loving mother of Russell (Andrea) Douglas, Dale (Eleanor, predeceased), Paul (Patricia Munt) and Laura (Tyler) Fraleigh. Proud grandmother of Greg (Joanne), Nicole (Brian), Bryan (Teresa), Kevan (Desiree), Sean, Cameron (Brenda), Jamie, Carly (Jesse) and Tyson (Gabrielle). Dearest great-grandmother of Marlee, Shelby, Conor, Sophie, Lincoln, Nora, Leif, Gabe, Catherine, Lauren and Vincent. Pearle is survived by her sister Rhonda Thomas, and nephews Tim, Glen and Davey Thomas, and her nieces Donna (Jack) Lacrooy and Sharon (Mike) Paine. Predeceased by her parents Nellie Coleman (nee Ward) and Henry Coleman, and her brothers Harry, Don and Vic Coleman, and her brother-in-law Dave Thomas and sister-in-law June Coleman.
Pearle was a longtime volunteer with Grace Anglican Church, Waterdown. She enjoyed many days playing Bridge at the Dundas Seniors Centre. Cremation has taken place with a private interment at Grace Anglican Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wentworth Lodge, Rosecourt under the direction of Sue-Ellen Gervais for the past two and a half years. Mac would like to pass along his sincere appreciation to the staff for their compassion and care.
Donations to the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital or Wentworth Lodge, Dundas would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
