Linda was born in México City, México, on December 19th 1969. The daughter of Francisco José Quintal Velasco and late Herlinda Lagier Portillo “Tita”. She attended Centro Escolar del Lago in México City, and was a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, earning her Bachelors of Business Administration degree, and her MBA at Concordia University Wisconsin. She married her college sweetheart Henryk Zysko on January 8th 1994, being together for 30 years, and having three children: Alex, Natalia, and Eddie. Her heart was forever broken by the loss of her youngest son Eduard Henryk Zysko “Eddie” who passed on July 6th 2016, but is now reunited with him in her arms in Heaven.
She leaves her son, Alexander Jakub, daughter and best friend, Natalia Isabell, and a little pet bunny, Willow.
Surviving are her sister and best friend Leticia Cristina Quintal Lagier (husband Toni Estopañan Serrate), her brother Francisco José Quintal Lagier “Paco”, and her brother-in-law Krzysztof Zyśko (wife Irena Zyśko). She also leaves many nieces and nephews that were close to her heart, Jeancarlo Aguileta Quintal (wife Nyx Castillo), Pamela Aguileta Quintal (boyfriend Pau Camara), Gerard and Sophie Estopañan Quintal, Adam Zyśko (wife Paulina Zyśko), Beata Michałek (husband Paweł Michałek), and Sylwia Zyśko. Her grandnieces and grandnephews who were the moon and the stars to her, Julie and Gerome Aguileta Castillo, Hubert and Kornelia Michałek, and Nikodem Zyśko.
During her career, she worked in International Business Development at ‘ASQ Global’ (American Society for Quality), spending countless hours communicating and partnering with worldwide members to promote quality in their respective countries by helping select speakers and quality material for their needs. Of special interest to Linda was working in México to increase the voice of quality in the country. She played an integral role in the early stages of setting up member units and student branches. Linda is highly respected and fondly remembered for going the extra mile to help Mexican universities promote quality to their students. To this day, her footprints are a testament to her efforts to promote quality for a better world. Later in her career, she went on to work for APEX Canada in Business Development. Honouring Eddie’s name, Linda went on to co-found Eddy Homes; a real estate investment company with her husband. In her recent years, she worked with ‘Mortgage Blox Funding’ as the Processing Manager.
With her voluntary involvement with ‘CKC’ (Cannabis Kills Cancer), she has passionately helped people with cancer and people in need of alternative medical treatments from different walks of life, helping save as many peoples’ lives as possible in dedication to her youngest son Eddie.
Family, faith, love and friendship were absolutely everything to her. She was always there for everyone and made you feel welcomed, loved and at home.
Linda (My Love, Mommy, Ma), we will love you forever / te amamos por siempre.
