Unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 Jennifer Carol Breukelman (nee Kingsland) passed away suddenly at Markdale Hospital. Beloved wife of Mark F. Breukelman for 38 years. Loving mother of Katelynn (Jason) Miron, Kyle Breukelman (Mariah Alderson) and Neil Breukelman (Sanchia Lung). Proud grandmother of Noah. Dear sister of Aylene Stoner, Colin Kingsland (Maria Kingsland-Lugosi) and Ian Kingsland. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret (nee Stubbs) Kingsland. Daughter-in-law of Fred Breukelman (Rose Stokes) and sister-in-law of Jerri Breukelman (Pat Simon), Dina (Glenn) Smith and Kim Vandervelde. Aunt to Carnegie, Christine, Caleb, Candice, Melissa, Cheyanne, Jesse, Seger and Keegan.
Jennifer was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and aunt – an avid quilter, passionate gardener, loved swimming in her pool all summer, growing her own fruits and vegetables “living off the land,” baking especially at Christmas time, including her famous chocolate chip cookies that everyone fought over, making jam for all to enjoy, and of course, enjoying retirement with the love of her life.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Jennifer’s Life at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation to follow. As everyone who knows her knew, she was a lover of the colour purple – we would love for you to include purple in your clothing at the Celebration of Life or your day-to-day routine in honour of her.
