Hilda Nusselder (nee Kuizenga) Obituary
Peacefully, with her husband and daughters by her side, at Shalom Manor on Saturday, March 30, 2024, Hilda Nusselder was called home by her Lord and Saviour at the age of 77. Beloved wife of William Nusselder. Loving mother of Kristen (and Dan) Bazuin and Kareen (and Chris) Dyk. Beloved grandmother of Caiden, Mikah, Kaylee, Addie and Anya. Dear sister of Jake (and Margaret) Kuizenga, John (and Collen) Kuizenga and Terry (and Keith) Temple.
Hilda spent many years teaching elementary students at both John Knox and Rehoboth Christian School. She was well loved by her students and her bulletin boards were the envy of her fellow teachers. In her free time, Hilda could be found shopping on both sides of the border. In her retirement, her favorite pastime was visiting her girls and their families in Michigan.
Thank you to the caregivers at Shalom Manor for their kindness, compassion and loving care of Hilda.
Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Wednesday April 3, 2024 from 10 a.m. until a Private Funeral Meditation at 11 a.m. Interment, White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
If desired, donations in memory of Hilda to Shalom Manor would be appreciated by the family.
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
