Frank Volkhard Adolph Stiller Obituary
Frank Stiller passed away at his home in Waterdown on May 21, 2024 at the ripe old age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Mae (nee MacDonald) for 58 years. Loved father of Roland, and Daniel (Beth) and grandfather to Riley and Holden. Dear brother of Roland and Ekkehard in Germany and uncle to Ralph, Uwe, Ekkie, Theo, Harald, Olivia, and Eleanore. He will be greatly missed by all.
Frank was retired from Stelco after many years of service. As much as he loved his job and would regale us with his stories about work, his true passion was his family. He was a great storyteller with a wealth of knowledge and he was the cherished historian of the Stiller family. He was always willing to share a laugh, and a smile with friends and neighbors and all those he interacted with in the community. We all take comfort in knowing his rest is well earned and he can now take his place alongside his beloved Lillian after desperately missing her these last three and a half years.
We invite friends to visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St.N., Waterdown on Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. to share stories and celebrate his life. The Funeral Service will be held at PRINCE of PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1299 Brant St., Burlington on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Service to follow at Grace Anglican Cemetery, Waterdown. A reception will be held at the funeral home Family Centre. Donations to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
