Carl was born in P.E.I. in 1943 to Georgie and Bruce MacLeod, since deceased. Carl leaves Sybil, his wife and only true love; daughter Deirdra; son Blake (Nicole); grandchildren Jamie (Cody), Mandi (Brett), Noah, Liam and Ryan; great-granddaughter Cali; and sister Beverly Gunning. Carl was a proud member of the RCMP for 32 years and a book on his undercover life written by author Robert Knuckle titled “A Master of Deception” became a Canadian best seller. Carl was a member of the Hugh Murray Masonic Lodge in Hamilton for over 45 years, Past President of the RCMP Golden Horseshoe Veterans Association and a long-time member of the Burlington Old-timers Hockey Club. He was a committed member of the Canadian Red Cross blood donors with over 160 donations. Carl was also a member of the Charlottetown Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. Carl was totally devoted to his family who always came first. Carl loved watching his children and grandchildren play soccer, hockey, ski, basketball, volleyball and swim. Carl taught them all how to play cribbage and many mini tournaments followed especially at the family cottage in Seaview, P.E.I. Carl worked in many countries around the globe but his favourite place on earth was Prince Edward Island.
Donations to the Canadian Red Cross in memory of Carl would be appreciated by his family.
