It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendy McDonald-Wilcox, born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on April 21, 1961, passed away on December 28th , 2023.
Wendy is survived by her husband and partner of 40 years Walter Wilcox, two daughters Jennifer and her spouse Shawn and Amanda and her spouse Neil, two step-daughters Trina Wilcox and Erica Wilcox (Oromocto, NB) her seven-year-old grandson Neilson (son of Amanda and Neil), sister Pamela McDonald, brother Stephen McDonald and his spouse Lee (Cole Harbour, NS), nephews Brandon Hayes and Nicholas Hayes, brother-in-law John Hayes and nieces Katie and Hannah. Wendy is also survived by many of those who call her nanny, nanna, mom and aunt.
Wendy’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed her work at a nursing home for 15 years as a cook and volunteer work for many years. She loved to read and crochet.
