It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Warren Wight. Warren passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2023, at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Warren was born on May 13th, 1949, in Bonne Bay Newfoundland to Ada and Gordon Wight. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, and his children Tammy, James (Britt), P.J. (Christine), and Tonya (Luis). Amazing grandfather to Matthew, Taylor, Truen, Nathan, Jarrit, Mackenzie, and Jolene. A kind and loving brother to Vera, Wallace (Donna), and Kevin, Loretta, and Molwyn (Nancy). Warren leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins with very fond memories of the time they spent together.
Warren was a very proud and strong man who was happy to sit and have a chat with a friend. Warren found peace in the little things in life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
In replacement of services, Warren’s family and friends are welcome to share their memories at the kitchen table over a cup of tea. Warren will take two tea bags.
My body is a vessel for my soul. When you say my name, I will hear you. When you are happy, I feel you. Our time together gave us love that lasts forever. Speak of me often, remember me every day, and love me forever. I’m still with you.
