On Friday, August 9, 2024, at the age of 90, God peacefully called Nina to eternal rest. Predeceased by her husband Angelo Michele (February 17, 2022) and her daughter Josie (January 6, 2023). Cherished mother of Carlo (Joanne) and mother-in-law to Giulio Carinci. Proud nonna of Emilio, Laura, Michael David (Laura), Michael Angelo (Maria), Anthony and Natalie and bisnonna to Bria, Gabriel, Amelia, and Olivia. Adored Zia to many nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 2-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Paschal Baylon Church (92 Steeles Ave. W., west of Yonge St.) on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Nina will then be laid to rest with her husband at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave. W.)
In memory of Nina, donations may be made to Sunnybrook Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
