On Friday, August 23, 2024, at the age of 93, God peacefully called Maria Grazia to eternal rest. Predeceased by her beloved husband Vito Tommaso (June 5, 2011). Cherished mother of Graziano (Carmela), Peter, Domenic (Elizabeth), and Tony (Lisa). Proud nonna of Vito (Frida), Jenny, Thomas, Daniela (Francesco), Bianca, and Matteo and bisnonna to Angelina and Leo. Predeceased by her siblings Francesco (Mariangela†) and Vincenzina (Mariano†), she is survived by her sister Marianna (Vito Pasquale†). As an adored Zia, she will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferi St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday (August 25) and Monday (August 26) from 4-8 p.m. on both days. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church (72 Mansfield Ave. – Grace St., south of College St.) on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Maria Grazia will then be laid to rest with her husband at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Caledonia Rd.)
