It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luciano Cretaro, beloved father, brother, son, and friend, who left us peacefully on September 27, 2024. Born in Colle Berardi, Frosinone, Italy on Febuary 19, 1964. He was a cherished father to his two daughters, Daniela and Victoria, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Luciano was born to Vito and Anna Cretaro, who instilled in him the values of love, compassion, and perseverance. He is survived by his loving sisters, Sandra, Laura (Anthony Ondretti), and Lina, who will forever hold dear the memories of their brother’s kindness and laughter. His legacy continues through his nieces and nephews, Luca, Matteo (Albia), Alyssa (Ondretti), and Ava (Quintieri), who will remember him as a guiding light in their lives.
A dedicated family man, Luciano’s warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had an infectious spirit that brought people together, and he will be deeply missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
A Visitation for Luciano will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 6:00 – 9:00pm. And again Tuesday October 1, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm – 6:00-9:00pm at DeMarco Funeral Home – Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, ON, M3J 1N4).
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2024 at St. Wilfrid’s Church (1675 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M3J 2G8) at 10:00am Immediately following Luciano’s Mass an entombment service will take place at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R 1Y6)
