Linda Lucille Kombargi (nee Christie) passed away suddenly on Dec 28, 2023, at Mount Sinai Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. She was 62 years old.
Linda will be missed deeply and forever cherished and loved by her husband of 31 years, Craig, and their two children, Ryan and Jasmin.
Linda was fortunate to experience both country living during her childhood and while raising her own children, plus city dwelling multiple times – Toronto, Wellington in New Zealand when she set off on a new adventure down under for 4 years during her twenties, and Montreal briefly. Linda loved travel and was therefore privileged to not only live many different places, but visit a wide array of countries across Europe, the Caribbean, Oceania, and more. Linda proudly served her country when booking travel for the Canadian Forces during 2 deployments in Kuwait and Iraq.
Linda saw the value of education and continued growth and was a lifelong learner both through school and life experiences. She was open-minded towards all new things and ways, and full of wisdom – a guiding light and rock especially for her family and could be depended upon regardless of whether it was at home or at work.
Linda was full of resilience throughout her life, with a heart of gold adorned with the most beautiful smile and the best sense of humour. She was selfless and always thought of others even during her last days.
Throughout all of her years, Linda lived life to its fullest with enjoyments from sewing, hiking, music, and wonder word puzzles. But above all was her love and devotion to her family – Linda was as precious as the gemstones on the family rings she always wore.
As per her request, there is no funeral service or visitation.
