Our beloved mother, Kathleen Mary Thackaberry, sadly passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 67. Kathleen was born in Pointe-a-Pierre, Trinidad & Tobago on June 3rd, 1956, to Eileen and Patrick Roche. Kathleen was mother to Steven and Ashley and grandmother to Foster Thomas Thackaberry. She had an unconditional love and devotion for both her children and her grandchild in Toronto, Ontario with her devoted husband of 43 years Foster Thackaberry. She was loved dearly by her family and community. She is survived by her sister Maureen Simpson and her brother Kevin Roche. Our mother loved to swim especially at her cottage on Georgian Bay, she also loved to sing, draw, and found moments of peace interspersed with excitement at the Bingo with her husband and her community of friends there. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the celebration of life in her honour on:
