It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Matriarch, Julieta Pimentel (90yrs). Julieta passed away peacefully on September 18th, 2024, with family by her side.
Julieta was predeceased by her loving husband of 58yrs, Joao, brother Antonio (surviving wife Mariazinha), Lourdes and (Sylvestre). Julieta is survived by her children, Maria (John), Joaquim (Kari), grand-daughters, and treasures of her heart, Juliet (Brent) and Lexcie. Julieta is also survived by her beloved nieces Aida and Elizabeth (Trevor) as well as other family members.
Julieta was born in 1934, in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal. Married her childhood sweetheart Joao in 1959, and they made a life in Northern Ontario, where they dedicated their lives to providing the very best for their family. Julieta was a dear friend to many and helped anyone who asked. Julieta was a remarkable woman with a beautiful spirit. She had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile. Julieta is now reunited with her beloved husband Joao, other loved ones that have gone before her and is with her Lord. Julieta will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Friends will be received at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W.,(between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St.) on Monday, September, 23, 2024 from 9:30 a.am to 10:30 a.m. Followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa’s Parish (100 10th Street). Julieta will be laid to rest at Park Lawn Mausoleum. (2845 Bloor Street West, Toronto).
