On Monday, September 9, 2024, at the age of 98, God peacefully called Isaura to eternal rest. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jose Maria (2007), she will be dearly missed by her sons Carlos (Irene) and Porfirio (Anna). Proud Avó of Danny (Elize), Christina, Marco, Andrea (Michael Da Silva) and Claudia and Bisavó to Giancarlo and Alessandro. Predeceased by her sisters, she will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Angels (1481 Dufferin St., south of Davenport Rd.) on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Caterina will then be laid to rest with her husband back in her hometown of Duas Igrejas (Miranda do Douro), Portugal.
